Seller Guide

How to set up your store and add your first piece on Golden Dust Wear, step by step.

1.

Getting started in 7 steps

Follow these steps in order. Each one takes a few minutes.

  • 1. Wait for the approval email. Your dashboard shows Your shop is under review. You receive the email Your shop is approved when you can start selling.
  • 2. Present your brand. In Settings > Store, add your name, banner, profile picture and biography. Banner: 1250 x 600 px, with your logo in the centre. No Instagram, website, email or phone number in your biography: links and contact details are removed automatically. Your official details are shown to customers in the Seller information section of your store and products.
  • 3. Choose your shipping origin. In Settings > Store, choose the country your parcels ship from and click Save shipping origin. It decides VAT and customs for your orders.
  • 4. Connect your payment account. In Settings > Payment, connect the payment account shown there (Stripe or PayPal) and follow the steps (identity and bank details). Your pieces stay hidden from customers until it is done. Payouts are available for sellers based in the EU and EEA, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, the United States and Canada. Payment processing fees are paid by Golden Dust Wear: no other fee is deducted from your share.
  • 5. Enter your tax details. Your VAT number, or tick the option if you are not VAT registered.
  • 6. Set your shipping rates. In Settings > Shipping, set a rate for each zone you serve.
  • 7. Add your first piece. Follow the steps below.

To deliver everywhere in Europe: in Settings > Store, add your French recycling numbers (clothing and shoes with Refashion, packaging with Citeo or Léko) to deliver to France, and your LUCID packaging number to deliver to Germany. If your business is outside the EU, also add your EU responsible person (a person or company in the EU responsible for the safety of your products). Without these details, your pieces stay on sale but cannot be delivered to the country concerned. Your dashboard shows what is missing.

2.

Create the piece

In your dashboard, open Products and click Add new product.

  • Title: a clear name for your piece.
  • Photos: at least two. The Feature image is your main photo: vertical (4:5 ratio), on a light plain background. Add the others in Gallery image.
  • Price: the final price paid by the customer, VAT included. It is the same price in every country.
  • Short description: one or two sentences shown near the price.
  • Description: materials, fit, size advice and care. At the end, add the manufacturer name, address and email, a reference and the exact composition.
  • No links or contact details: no Instagram, website, email address or phone number in titles and descriptions. The only exception is the manufacturer line at the end, which must start with Manufacturer: (and EU responsible person: if needed). Everything else is removed automatically when you save.
  • No vague eco claims: since 27 September 2026, EU law bans vague claims such as “eco-friendly”, “sustainable” or “green”. Write a precise fact you can prove instead, for example “100% recycled cotton (GRS certified)”.
  • Language: write your title and descriptions in English, the language of the site, so customers in every country can read them.
3.

Choose the right categories

This step decides where customers will find your piece. In the Categories field, remove Uncategorized, then tick two categories:

  • Gender and type: under Women, Men or Unisex, tick the type of piece. Example: Women Tops.
  • The world: under Worlds, open the world (Playa, Valley, Forest or Nocturne), then the gender, then tick the type. Example: Worlds > Valley > Women > Tops.

Which world for your piece? Each world has its own mood. These words help you choose:

  • Playa: futuristic, metallic, neon, psychedelic, rave, Burning Man, holographic, sequins. Music: house and disco.
  • Valley: lace, floral, boho, romantic, soft, kimono, denim, mini shorts, leather boots. Music: hip hop and pop.
  • Forest: leather, fringe, handmade, nomad, earthy, holster, artisanal, headpiece, hippie, feathers, stones. Music: psytrance and trance.
  • Nocturne: latex, chains, dark, goth, after-dark, black leather. Music: techno and bass.

If a piece fits two worlds, choose its main mood. If it truly belongs to both, you can add the second world with + Add new category.

Without these two categories, your piece will not appear in the right filters. Do not tick every category hoping for more visibility.

4.

One size, or several sizes and colours

One size and one colour: keep Product type on Simple.

Several sizes or colours: set Product type to Variable. Then, in the Attributes section at the bottom of the form:

  • choose an attribute in the list (for example sizes) and click Add New;
  • select the values you offer and tick Used for variations;
  • click Save Attributes: a Bulk actions list appears. Choose Create variations from all attributes (or Add variation to add them one by one), click Go and confirm;
  • open each variation with its small arrow: choose the size (Any sizes means one price for every size), make sure Enabled is ticked, add a price, a quantity and its own SKU, then click Save Variation. Remove the ones you do not sell.

Test each size and colour in a private browser window (logged out): the Add to cart button is hidden on your own pieces while you are logged in. A variation without a price or without stock cannot be bought.

5.

SKU, stock and weight

SKU is your stock reference: a unique code for each product and each variation, for example BRAND-MOONBAG-BLK-S.

Tick Manage stock? and enter the exact quantity you can ship, so that a piece cannot be sold twice.

Enter the weight of the parcel in kilograms if your carrier needs it.

6.

Publish your piece

Click Save changes, at the bottom right of the screen. Your piece goes live straight away, as long as your payment account (Stripe or PayPal) is connected.

Not ready yet? Set Status to Draft before saving. You can finish and publish it later from your Products list.

To change a price, a photo or the stock later, edit the existing product. Never create a duplicate.

7.

When you receive an order

You will receive an email for each new order. Open Orders and click the order number. Ship only the orders marked Processing.

  • Check the piece, size, colour, quantity and delivery address.
  • Attach your tamper-evident returns tag to the piece, clearly visible.
  • Pack it carefully and hand it to your carrier.
  • Under Shipments, click Create New Shipment: tick the piece, set the status to Shipped, choose your carrier (DHL, UPS, FedEx, DPD or Other) and enter the tracking number.
  • Under General Details, click Edit next to the status and set the order to Completed, once the parcel has been handed to the carrier.

Do not use the Request Refund button on your own: refunds go through Return Requests or through Golden Dust Wear.
